Islamabad: Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Aamer Ali Ahmed, gave Frontier Works Organization (FWO) instructions on Wednesday to speed up work on the Rawal Dam Interchange Project for the assistance of travelers.
Throughout his visit to the development site, the chairman of the authority gave the directions after carefully examining the construction movement.
FWO councils gave the CDA chairman an update on the project’s grade and clarified that both interchange ramps were being constructed fast, with one ramp’s filling work having been done and the second ramp’s subgrade work still in development.
Though additional stages had been taken to assurance that construction could continue during the monsoon rains, the CDA chairman asserted that the job’s excellence had not been compromised.
The Rawal Dam Interchange plan, which FWO is now working on it, was supposed to be complete one month before the definite time period. The project’s devoted finalization date was October 2022.
The project comprises with underpass, an overhead bridge, a few slip roads, and linking underpass with Margalla Town.
