CDA (Capital Development Authority) Decides to Handover Metro Bus Operations to Private Corporation

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Board has made the decision to hand over management of the metro bus service, which runs between Peshawar Morr and Islamabad International Airport, to a private firm that is comparably lower rate than that of all other like services provided in the nation.

According to a broadcast announcement, the formal approval in that regard was granted during the board meeting chaired by CDA (Capital Development Authority) Chairman Aamer Ali Ahmed. The National Logistic Cell (NLC) gave a contract from the board to build bus stops along the paths of the Blue and Green metro bus services.

In an agreement with the rules of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), it also allowable the building of separated pathways for both buses to the Frontier Works Organization (FWO).
